Priming Tips
  • Use the temperature of the beer when fermentation finished, not current room temp — residual CO₂ depends on this.
  • Dissolve dextrose in a small amount of boiled, cooled water before adding to the bottling bucket.
  • Gently stir the sugar solution in — don't splash or you'll oxidise the beer.
  • Condition bottles at 18–22°C for at least 10 days before refrigerating.
  • Dextrose is more reliable than table sugar for consistent carbonation and no off-flavours.
