What's Included

What Equipment Do You Need?
A 23-litre fermentation vessel, airlock, hydrometer, siphon, and bottles or a pressure barrel. Our home brew starter kits include everything in one bundle. Always sanitise with VWP or ChemSan — cider is particularly susceptible to contamination from wild yeasts.
Tips for Best Results
- Ferment at 18–22°C for a clean, balanced result
- For a slightly sweeter finish, add 50–100g of lactose before bottling — it adds sweetness without re-fermenting (ask us about current stock)
