How Build My Kit chooses your kit
What it does: answer three quick questions and it suggests a kit to brew next, plus the extras you'll need, ready to add to your basket.
How to use it: first choose beer, wine or cider. Next, say whether you're starting from scratch or already have the gear. If you're starting from scratch, it suggests a starter kit with the fermenter and equipment. If you have the gear, it shows just the ingredient kit. Finally, pick the flavour you're after, such as hoppy and bitter, dark and roasty, or crisp and light for beer.
How it decides: each combination of answers is matched to a kit we stock in that style, with a short list of extras that kit commonly needs.
Worked example: choose beer, "I've got the gear" and "Dark & Roasty", and you'll get a stout or porter-style ingredient kit, with suggestions for what else it needs. Choose "Starting from scratch" instead, and you'll see a complete starter kit.
