MAXIMUM 4 PER ORDER

These demijohns are being offered at a discounted price as they were manufactured with a slightly oversized ovaled shape to the top section of the neck and so are being supplied complete with two large cork bungs - one bored to take a standard sized airlock, the other solid (unbored) to be used if storing the brew in the demijohn when fermentation is complete.

The size of the bungs being supplied with these demijohns are 29mm base diameter x 34mm top diameter, and they are 37mm high. One is drilled with an 8mm hole for the airlock, while the other is solid.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this demijohn discounted?

It was made with a slightly oversized, oval top to the neck, so standard bungs may not fit - that's why it comes with two larger cork bungs.

What's included?

The 5-litre glass demijohn, an airlock, and two cork bungs: one bored for the airlock and one solid for storing your brew once fermentation is finished.

What size are the bungs?

29mm base diameter, 34mm top diameter and 37mm high. The bored bung has an 8mm hole for a standard airlock.

How many can I order?

A maximum of 4 per order.

What can I make in it?

A demijohn is ideal for small batches of wine, cider or mead - a typical 1-gallon batch makes around 6 bottles of wine.
