Elderberries- fresh or dried, is the pre-eminent amateur winemaking ingredient for basing red wines.
French Oak Chips-Used sometimes in red wines to give a distinct oak aroma, as if stored in casks. They are simply dispersed into the wine during at the start of fermentation. Sufficient for 20 Litres
Elderflowers-Used sometimes to produce Elderflower wine and to enhance a wine with a poor bouquet.
Dried Sloes-Ideal for making sloe wine or sloe gin. Use ª of the amount of fresh sloes.
