The Solomon Grundy Gold 6 Bottle Wine Kit Range lets you make a small batch of 6 bottles of home made wine, available in eight popular styles: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Piesporter, and Zinfandel Rosé. Each kit is excellent value and produces a clean, enjoyable wine.

What Equipment Do You Need?

You'll need a 5 Litre Fermenter, Airlock, and Syphon. Always sanitise with VWP or ChemSan.

Upgrading your yeast

For the reds (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz): try Mangrove Jack's CR51, bred for light, fruity, early-drinking reds. For the dry whites (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc): Mangrove Jack's CL23 keeps it crisp and clean. For the off-dry styles (Piesporter, Zinfandel Rosé): Mangrove Jack's MA33 suits their fruitier, slightly sweeter character.
