Collection: John Guest Fittings

John Guest fittings are push-fit connectors for joining beer and gas lines in home brew kegging setups without tools or clamps. You push the tube in to seal it and press the collet to release it. Our range is built around 3/8" line, with straights, elbows, end stops, locking clips, reducers to 1/4", 5/16" and 3/16", and a 3/8" × 1/4" FFL female adapter for threaded ball lock disconnects.

Buying guide & FAQs

Which John Guest fitting do I need?

How to fit push-fit connectors

Cut the tube cleanly and squarely, push it firmly into the fitting past the O-ring until it stops, then pull back gently to check it's gripped. To release it, push the collet in and hold it while you pull the tube out. Always release the pressure first.

Pair them with our MDPE beer line in 3/16", 5/16" and 3/8", and clean the lines regularly with Pipeline beer line cleaner.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do John Guest push-fit fittings work?

An internal collet grips the tube and an O-ring seals it. You push the tube in to connect it, and press the collet to release it. No tools are needed.

How do I connect beer line to a ball lock disconnect?

Use the John Guest 3/8" × 1/4" FFL female adapter. It screws onto a 1/4" MFL threaded disconnect and gives you a 3/8" push-fit socket for your line. See our guide to cleaning beer lines.

Can I join different sizes of beer line?

Yes. Use a reducing straight or reducing elbow. We stock 3/8" to 3/16", 3/8" to 1/4" and 3/8" to 5/16".

Why is my push-fit fitting leaking?

Usually the tube isn't pushed fully home or the end isn't cut square. Release the pressure, recut the tube cleanly, and push it in firmly past the O-ring.

What are locking clips for?

A locking clip sits behind the collet so it can't be pushed in by accident. That stops the tube releasing under pressure.
