A pack of 25 Harris Vinbrite 24 cm filter papers - wet-strength papers made for the Harris Vinbrite filter kit, used to take coarse floating debris out of home-made wine before it is polished and bottled.

Why filter?

Winemakers have used filter papers folded into a funnel for decades. Modern papers are a simple way to remove coarse floating debris, and in the Vinbrite system they work alongside filter pads for a much faster, more consistent clear than the old funnel method alone.

How to use

Make sure fermentation has finished and syphon the wine off its sediment first. Sanitise the filter parts, fit a paper and let the wine run through into a clean jar. Use a fresh paper for each batch.
