Alcotec Carbon 48 Turbo Yeast

Alcotec Carbon 48 Turbo Yeast is a turbo yeast with activated carbon blended into the mix, so you get a fast, high-alcohol sugar wash and a first carbon treatment in one sachet.

The carbon works during fermentation, adsorbing unwanted congeners and off-flavours as they form. The result is a cleaner base alcohol going into your still, and less work cleaning it up afterwards.

How to use

Use it just like standard turbo yeast: dissolve the sugar in water, add the sachet and ferment. When it has finished, clear the wash with Klar finings, then distil and carbon-filter as usual.
