Bulldog Bad Cat Imperial Red is a big, full-bodied imperial red ale kit built on 4.7kg of malt extract - the first Imperial Red kit for home brewers, according to the maker. It brews 23 litres at about 7.5% ABV with no added sugar.

Deep, malty and full bodied, with powerful fruity and citrus hop aromas from American Amarillo and Willamette dry hopping.
What's in the box

How to brew it
Soften the malt bag in hot water, mix it with 3 litres of hot water, top up to 23 litres at 20-25°C and add the yeast. Ferment for 8-15 days at 18-24°C; add the hop teabag 1-2 days before you bottle, for maximum aroma. Bottle once the gravity stops falling, with a level teaspoon of sugar per 330ml or 500ml bottle, then keep warm for a week and cool for about another week to clear.
