What Equipment Do You Need?
This kit is ingredients-only. You'll also need a 25-litre fermentation bucket, airlock, hydrometer, siphon, and bottles or a pressure barrel. Our home brew starter kits include everything in one bundle. Always sanitise with VWP or ChemSan.
Tips for Best Results
- Use 1kg Brewing Sugar, or upgrade to Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 for improved body
- Upgrade the yeast to Saflager W-34/70 — a true lager yeast that ferments cleaner and colder than the ale yeast included, giving a crisper, more authentic result
- Use Beer Finings for a brilliantly clear lager
