The Beaverdale 30 Bottle Wine Kit Range is one of the most highly regarded premium home winemaking ranges available in the UK. Used by experienced home winemakers who want genuinely exceptional results, Beaverdale kits use high-quality grape concentrate to produce wines with real depth, varietal authenticity, and a clean, professional finish.

At £47.99 for 30 bottles, Beaverdale sits at the top end of the home wine market — but at around £1.60 per bottle, it still represents extraordinary value for wines of this character. These are wines you'd be proud to serve to guests.

Available in 14 classic styles: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet/Shiraz, Chardonnay, Chardonnay/Semillon, Chateau du Roi, Malbec, Merlot, Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Blush, and Shiraz.

Why Choose Beaverdale?

Beaverdale consistently produces some of the most authentic varietal character of any 30-bottle kit. The Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, has real structure and tannin — not just sweetness and colour. The Sauvignon Blanc has genuine herbaceous lift. These are wines where you can taste the grape variety, not just the kit.

This makes Beaverdale particularly popular with home winemakers who have outgrown mid-range kits and want something that genuinely competes with commercial wine at a fraction of the price.

What's Included

Each kit contains premium grape juice concentrate, dried yeast, fining agents, stabiliser, and full step-by-step instructions. Everything needed for fermentation and clearing — just add water and a small amount of sugar.

What Equipment Do You Need?

A 23-litre fermentation vessel, airlock, hydrometer, siphon, and 30 wine bottles. If you're getting started, our home brew starter kits include all the essentials. Always sanitise thoroughly with VWP or StarSan — premium wines like these deserve a clean fermentation environment.

How Long Does It Take?

Primary fermentation takes 5–10 days at 18–22°C. After adding finings and allowing the wine to clear (typically 24–48 hours), it's ready to bottle. Beaverdale wines genuinely reward conditioning — allow 4–6 weeks in the bottle for the reds in particular to show their best.

Tips for Best Results

  • Ferment reds at the warmer end of the range (20–22°C) for better colour and tannin extraction
  • Ferment whites cooler (16–18°C) for a crisper, more aromatic result
  • Be patient with fining — allow the wine to clear fully before bottling for maximum clarity
  • The reds especially benefit from 2–3 months of bottle ageing

Also available in a Beaverdale 6 Bottle range if you'd like to try a variety first. For alternatives at a similar quality level, see the Cellar 7 range and Solomon Grundy Platinum. Browse all wine and cider kits at BrewCo.
