Lalvin K1V-1116 is an all-purpose wine yeast selected by INRA Montpellier in the Mediterranean region of France. When fermented at low temperatures (below 15°C), it tends to express the freshness of white grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Seyval, with natural fresh fruit and floral esters.
