Still Spirits Distiller's Nutrient Dark Spirits is a yeast nutrient blend formulated to boost congener production, the flavour compounds that give whiskey, rum and brandy-style spirits their depth. Use it with sugar washes, fruit mashes or molasses washes.

Dosage per 25 L fermentation

• Sugar wash (up to 15% ABV): 75 g / 70 ml / 4 bottle caps
• Fruit mash (up to 15% ABV): 50 g / 45 ml / 3 bottle caps
• Molasses wash (up to 12% ABV): 50 g / 45 ml / 3 bottle caps

How to use

Shake well, add with the yeast and stir to dissolve, then ferment as directed for your chosen yeast strain.

We do not currently stock molasses, so bring your own for a rum-style molasses wash.
