6 Bottle Wine Starter Kit

The 6 Bottle Wine Starter Kit has the equipment you need to make wine one gallon at a time, built around two 1 gallon demijohns. It suits complete beginners and experienced winemakers who want a small-batch setup. Ingredients are not included.

What's in the kit

• 2 x 1 gallon demijohns
• 4 x cork bungs (2 bored, 2 solid)
• Airlock
• Syphon
• Stick-on thermometer
• Hydrometer
• Trial jar
• 100g cleaner/steriliser

Specs

• Bored bung has an 8mm hole for the airlock

How to use

Clean and sterilise everything, make up your wine in one demijohn with the bored bung and airlock, and check progress with the hydrometer and trial jar. Syphon off the sediment into the second demijohn to clear, using a solid bung for storage.
