Dark Crystal malt is a deeply-coloured caramel malt that adds rich caramel and toffee sweetness, hints of dark fruit and a touch of light roastiness, along with a deep amber to reddish-brown colour. Low in diastatic power, so use it with a base malt for flavour, colour and body.
