Ferment, carbonate and serve from one tank with the Fermenter King Junior from Keg King, supplied here with a spunding valve. It's a clear PET 20 litre pressure fermenter and keg in one - an affordable way to try pressure fermentation.
Key features
- 20 litre clear PET tank - same mould as Keg King's 20L King Kegs
- Ferments up to 18 litres of wort
- Ball lock gas and liquid posts, so it hooks up to a tap system like a keg
- Spunding valve included to control pressure during fermentation
- Holds about the same as a corny keg, so two fit in many kegerators
Specifications
- Width at base: 259.4mm
- Height to top of posts: 586.9mm
- Newer units come with a white 25psi pressure relief valve
How to use it
Ferment with the spunding valve set to your chosen pressure, then carbonate in the tank and serve straight from it, or transfer to kegs. Keep cleaning solutions below 40°C - PET can soften above 50°C.
