Key features

  • Professional strength for a deeper clean than standard line cleaners
  • Purple colour-change indicator: the solution changes colour while it is lifting dirt, and stays purple once the line is clean
  • Suitable for beer dispense systems, from home bars and kegerators to pub cellars
  • 250ml bottle - a sensible size for home and occasional use

Specs

  • Type: liquid concentrate, diluted before use
  • Maker: Chemisphere
  • Size: 250ml

How to use

Dilute, run through the lines and check the colour, then flush thoroughly with clean water - full steps are in the How to Use box.

Good to know

Pipeline Purple is a line cleaner, not a sanitiser. For brewing kit and fermenters use ChemSan no-rinse sanitiser. Clean lines regularly? The 500ml bottle lasts longer, or try the powder sachets.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do I mix with water?

Follow the dilution on the bottle - typically 25-40ml per litre of cold water.

How long do I leave it in the line?

At least 10 minutes, up to 20 for dirty lines. Keep drawing fresh solution through until it stays purple.

What does the colour change mean?

A colour change means dirt is still being removed. When fresh solution stays purple, the line is clean.

Do I need to rinse?

Yes - flush with clean cold water until it runs completely clear before putting beer back through.
