The Still Spirits Classic 8 Triple Pack puts the three essentials for a clean, high-quality sugar wash in one box: Classic 8 Turbo Yeast, Turbo Carbon and Turbo Clear. Add sugar and water and you are ready to ferment.

What's in the pack

  • Classic 8 Turbo Yeast (240 g) - an all-rounder yeast and nutrient mix with mineral absorbents for better distillate quality
  • Turbo Carbon (130 g) - added straight after the yeast to absorb impurities during fermentation
  • Turbo Clear (130 g) - a two-part clearer that drops yeast and solids so you can siphon off a clear wash

Specs

  • High ABV wash: 8 kg sugar in 20 L of water, about 5 days at 25°C or 10 days at 16°C
  • Fast wash: 6 kg sugar in 21 L of water, about 2 days at 30°C or 3 days at 18°C
  • Approximate yield on a T500 reflux still: 4.5 L at 93% ABV (8 kg sugar) or 3.7 L at 93% ABV (6 kg sugar)

How to use

Clean your fermenter, dissolve the sugar in water at the temperature on the pack, then add the yeast and carbon. When fermentation is finished, add Turbo Clear Part A, then Part B as directed, and wait before siphoning the clear wash into your still.

Who it's for

Spirit makers who want a reliable, all-in-one pack for every 25 L batch without buying three items separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in the Triple Pack?

One 240 g Classic 8 Turbo Yeast, one 130 g Turbo Carbon and one 130 g Turbo Clear.

How much sugar do I need?

Use 8 kg of sugar in 20 L of water for a high ABV wash, or 6 kg in 21 L of water for a faster ferment.

How long does fermentation take?

With 8 kg of sugar, about 5 days at 25°C or 10 days at 16°C. With 6 kg, about 2 days at 30°C or 3 days at 18°C.

Why use Turbo Clear?

It drops yeast and solids out of the wash before distilling. Without it, impurities trapped by the carbon can be released back during the boil.
