Amarillo is a variety characterised by mid to high alpha and low cohumulone content. Its aroma is reported to be similar to Cascade. The name Amarillo® is of Spanish origin and means "yellow". It can offer key flavours including black tea, melon, apricot and grapefruit.

Aurora (Super Styrian) has an intense and pleasant hoppy aroma. Aurora has a very good storage stability. The yield of a-acids is very good when brewing with this variety. Aurora is very suitable for extraction and for combination with other varieties in the brewing process. In beer it can offer flavours profiles including bergamot, lemongrass, aniseed and citrus. 

Azacca™  Exhibits a complex citrus and tropical aroma profile. In beer it can deliver a flavour profile that includes gooseberry, celeriac, grapefruit, pineapple and peach.

Bramling Cross Has a distinctive and flexible hop which brings rich fruit and spice character to British bitters, browns, milds, old ales and porters. May also suit barley wine, Belgian brown or dubble, American black ales and dunkel lagers.

Brewers Gold Is a variety is well known all over the world, being planted around the globe on account of its moderate alpha acid content, vigorous growth and high yield. Results will depend on the region in which it is grown but the variety has been known to deliver lemon, redcurrant and spice flavours in beers.

Cascade The aroma is of medium strength and very distinct. The variety has good cone production and is agronomically strong with good crown resistance to downy mildew. The definitive hop for American pale ales, IPAs and Black IPAs.

Cashmere comes from the hops Cascade and Northern Brewer, with higher alpha acids than Cascade. Bursting with citrus fruits such as lemon, lime and melon, this hop is excellent as both an aroma and bittering variety. It also showcases a subtle herbal bouquet.

Celeia Is bred from Styrian Goldings (nee Fuggles), Aurora and wild hops. This variety has medium sized, richly green oval cones. Primarily used for aroma. Celeia gives fresh, floral, citrussy orange and lemon notes, and is good for late hopping.

Centennial is a well blended aroma hop and is sometimes referred to as Super Cascade. Classic floral and citrus. Excellent dry hop.

Challenger tending to fresh verdant character of hedgerow and verges, with floral, pine and grassy notes. Used to good effect for both bittering and late aromas in many classic British bitters and pale ales.

Chinook The variety grows vigorously in all areas and offers robust aromas including red berries, fennel, basil, elderberry and lychee. Spicy, pine, sometimes earthy. Classic American alpha!

Citra As the name suggests, its flavour descriptors include the citrus fruits like lime and grapefruit, other fruity characteristics such as gooseberry, passion fruit & lychee, as well as numerous other tropical fruits.

Columbus The super high alpha varieties of Columbus (as well as Tomahawk and Zeus, or CTZ) are used extensively for bittering. Columbus offers aromas of lemongrass, vanilla, orange peel and curry.

Comet DE Is a hop variety with relatively high alpha acids content and provides a "wild American" aroma.  In beer it can offer a flavour profile that includes mandarin, elderberry, geranium, lemongrass and resin.

East Kent Goldings Is the quintessential English aroma hop. Pale golden-green cones ideal for late aroma hopping in copper and post-fermentation. Aromas include gentle orange and grapefruit notes, with floral lavender and thyme. Widely used to great effect in many of the paler British bitters, pales and blonde ales and ESBs.

Ekuanot The diversified and pronounced aroma characteristics of this hop combined with extremely high oil content and a tight cone structure make this hop variety very unique. Flavour profile includes guava, fennel, strawberry, grapefruit and gooseberry.

Endeavour This variety imparts unique English flavour notes to beer like citrus, spicy and red fruits. Early tests show it to be resistant to powdery and downy mildews.

Fantasia This unique Hop Composition provides a silky touch of cream caramel and stone fruits. Peachy keen!

Fuggles often used in combination with Goldings. Fuggles are also suitable for Porters and Stouts. Small cones of a mid-green colour impart aromas reminiscent of dry hay, mint, earth and hawthorn. In the beer it can give earthy flavours including celeriac, green tea hay and curry.

Galaxy  It contributes a striking and distinctive citrus and passion fruit character. Developed and grown exclusively in Australia, Galaxy is rightly highly sought after and well regarded by brewers globally. It is able to offer bold flavour profiles including passionfruit, citrus, peach, blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and aniseed.

Huell Melon This is variety has a distinctive honeydew melon and strawberry aroma. It can offer a flavour profile that includes wild strawberry, geranium, peach iced tea and aniseed.

Idaho 7 Pungent Tropical Papaya, Apricot & Grapefruit

Kazbek The predominant aromas in the cold infusion are grapefruit, lemon and lime, accompanied by sweet fruits, such as pineapple, passion fruit, peach and watermelon, with light top notes of honey and cream caramel. These aromas also occur in the raw hops where they are joined by nuances of raspberries, orange, ginger, elderberries and chocolate. Light notes of lemon balm add particular emphasis to the overall aroma.

Lemondrop Is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping. Lemondrop hops offer strong citrus, floral, fruity, herbal, lemon, mint, green tea, light melon aromas.

Magnum DE This high alpha cultivar from Hop Research Institute in Hüll  produces good yields and features high resistance to diseases. Magnum is possibly the most important bittering variety in Germany to date.

Mandarina Bavaria A very pleasant fruity variety with distinctive tangerine and citrus notes. As you'd expect from the name the aroma tends toward a mandarin citrus and the flavour profile can include pineapple, lemon, strawberry, gooseberry and black currant.

Monroe With an alpha content of only 2.5% and an oil content of 0.95 ml/100 g, Monroe showcases itself at the beginning as mild and smooth. When you add the hop to a beer, then it shows its true colors. Wonderful raspberry notes supplemented with orange syrup aromas. The flavour profile can include strawberry, cherry, plum, passion fruit and redcurrant.

Mosaic®offers a unique and complex blend of floral, tropical, fruity, and earthy characteristics that translate very well into several styles of beer. The flavour profile can be bold and includes gooseberry, pear, mandarin, lime and peach.

Progress Low to medium Alpha, just enough to use for both roles. Full round, dark green cones producing good strong aromas reminiscent of Fuggles with sweet grass, floral mint and earthy notes.

Saaz Czech aroma landrace variety from the area of the same name, very mild with pleasant hoppy notes. Saaz is recommended for the second and third hopping. It may be also used for dry hopping. It's widely used across all the notable Czech Pilsners and helps define that beer style. It's equally happy in continental-style Pilsners, Helles & American Light, Bock lagers and lighter Ales. It's aroma can be both woody and herbal while it can create a flavour profile including bergamot, honey, woody, camomile tea and spice.

Sabro Imparts a strong and complex fruit flavor to beer. Sabro is a hop with robust brewing performance that consistently translates its distinct flavor to beer. Sabros flavor is notable for its complexity of fruity and citrus flavors, including distinct tangerine, coconut, tropical and stone fruit. In addition, there is a pronounced cream character and secondary flavors of vanilla, cedar, dill, and mint.

Simcoe is a multi-purpose hop bred in Yakima, Washington state. It has a unique aroma as well as a high alpha content. It was released for planting in 2000 and offers lime overtones which give beer brewed with Simcoe® hops a distinct flavour. It is popular for American ales due to the quite piney aroma.

Sorachi Ace The aroma variety produces a good yield and is particularly resistant to powdery mildew, wilt and botrytis with a relatively high alpha acid content. Its aroma is primarily of over-ripe orange, lychee and herbal quality to dill type. Excellent in saison and wheat beers.

Spalter Variety has a very good aroma and is comparable to German Tettnanger. The locally grown Spalt variety belongs to the Saaz range and is cultivated exclusively in the region around Spalt. Despite its sometimes less than satisfactory yields, this variety has become more popular again. Spalt Spalter has good resistance to wilt and other diseases.

Summit Has a strong aroma profile which includes citrus like orange, tangerine and grapefruit. Its flavour profile can include wild garlic, aniseed, gooseberry, incense and pepper. Excellent dry hop.

Target Is the most widely grown British hop. Tiny, deep green cones give a good bitter profile, not ideal for late hopping but can be a successful dry hop. Aromas reflect fresh green sage, spice and pepper with hints of citrus marmalade.

Tettnanger Is widely used in lager styles, particularly modern helles and light lagers and it's well suited to wit and weisse style wheat beers, saisons as well as light, spicy cask ales. It may also be an interesting addition to old ale, barleywine or spiced stouts. It can offer flavours including floral, bergamot, lily of the valley, cognac and chocolate.

TnT This blend is designed specifically to major on the red fruits, sweet fruits and citrus to give a beer a solid tropical foundation.

Triskel Is a new hop breed with an aroma similar to Strisselspalt, from which Triskel inherited the floral, but slightly fruitier, notes. A high oil content makes Triskel very suitable for late and dry hopping. Its flavour profile can include artichoke, pepper, tobacco, honeydew melon and nettle.

Willamette The variety is characterised by a low alpha acids content, mild aroma similar to Fuggle and medium cone yields. It's flavour profile can include citrus, elderberry, incense, caramel and curry. Excellent in combo with Cascade for pale ales.
