For the fermenters themselves, see the Apollo range.

Buying guide & FAQs

Pressure relief valves: which psi?

A PRV releases gas once the vessel reaches its rated pressure, protecting your fermenter or keg and limiting carbonation. Keg King PRVs are colour-coded by pressure:

Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of your vessel. Check its instructions before fitting a higher-rated PRV.

Frequently Asked Questions

What PRV should I use for pressure fermentation?

Many brewers ferment at lower pressures and use a higher-rated PRV only for carbonating and serving. Always stay within your vessel's maximum rated pressure.

What colour is each Keg King PRV?

Blue is 10 psi, purple is 15 psi, white is 25 psi and red is 35 psi.

What is the Ultrafill used for?

It's a stainless steel counter-pressure bottle filler. It lets you fill bottles from your keg or tap without losing carbonation, which is handy for sharing or entering competitions.

Is Keg King the same as King Keg?

No. Keg King is an Australian kegging and pressure fermenter brand, while King Keg is a UK pressure barrel. Their parts are not interchangeable.
