The Keg King SS Float is a stainless steel ball float, supplied assembled with a loop and keyring. It attaches to the end of the Keg King Silicone Dip Tube so liquid is drawn from near the surface, leaving sediment behind.
Key features
- Genuine Keg King stainless steel ball float
- Comes assembled with its loop and keyring, ready to fit
- Floats on the surface so the dip tube draws the clearest beer first
- A cheap spare to keep on hand if your float is lost or damaged
How it works
Inside a floating dip tube set-up, the float keeps the open end of the silicone tube just below the surface of the beer. As you serve or transfer, it sinks with the level, so you keep pulling clear beer from the top while yeast and trub stay at the bottom.
How to use
Fit the float to the end of the silicone dip tube, clean and sanitise both before use, then fit them inside the fermenter as normal.
Who it is for
Owners of Keg King fermenters that use a floating dip tube and want a replacement or spare float.
