The 23 Litre Degasser is an essential wine making tool. Dissolved CO₂ left in wine after fermentation prevents finings from working correctly, leaves a prickly mouthfeel, and can cause bottles to overflow when opened. The degasser removes it quickly and thoroughly by agitating the wine, allowing CO₂ to escape before you fine and bottle.
Fits a standard electric drill — spin in the wine for 2–3 minutes in each direction to degas effectively. Far faster and more thorough than stirring by hand.
