This is a bottom-tap King Keg plastic pressure barrel supplied with an S30 valve lid, so you can pressurise it from a threaded S30 CO2 cylinder instead of single 8g bulbs. It is a simple way to serve your home brew on draught.
What you get
- Plastic barrel-style King Keg
- Tap at the bottom of the barrel
- Lid fitted with an S30 valve for a CO2 cylinder
Specs
- Type: plastic King Keg pressure barrel
- Tap: bottom tap
- Gas: S30 valve, for S30-threaded CO2 cylinders
How to use
Clean and sanitise the barrel, rack in your finished beer off its sediment, add a little priming sugar if you want natural condition, fit the lid and top up with CO2 as the level drops. Because the tap is at the bottom, it suits beer that has already been cleared, so use finings before racking.
Who it is for
Kit and extract brewers who want draught beer without the cost of a full kegging set-up, and who would rather use a cylinder than buy 8g bulbs.
Complete the set
- Brewgas L.30 (S30) CO2 Cylinder - gas to screw into the S30 valve
- Young's Beer Finings - clear the beer before racking
- ChemSan 250ml - no-rinse sanitiser for the barrel and tap
- 4" King Keg Caps - spare or alternative caps
