No. 1 Coarse filter pads for the Buon Vino Mini Jet wine filter, supplied in a pack of 3. They are the first stage of filtering, removing the larger particles from heavy wines - typically big reds.

Key features

  • Pack of 3 Coarse pads (grade No. 1)
  • Made for the Buon Vino Mini Jet filter
  • Removes large particulate, ready for finer pads

Specs

  • Grade: No. 1 Coarse
  • Rating: 5-7 microns
  • Fits: Buon Vino Mini Jet

Which pad when?

Buon Vino pads come in three grades: No. 1 Coarse (5-7 microns), No. 2 Polishing (1.5-2.5 microns) and No. 3 Sterile (0.5-1 micron). Start with Coarse on a heavy or cloudy wine, then move to finer pads for extra brilliance.

How to use

Soak and fit the pads as shown in your Mini Jet instructions, then pump the cleared wine through. Fine the wine first so the pads do not clog too quickly.

For winemakers who already own a Mini Jet and want a clear, bright red.
