Used at the end of fermentation to prevent oxidation and bacterial contamination during bottling and syphoning. Can also be used as a sterilising solution. Used as a preservative or for sterilising ingredients before use.
To remove Chlorine / TCP taste or smells, before making your Beer or Wine it is recommended to use half a tablet per 5 gallons / 25 litres.
For stronger odours use one full tablet. Crushing / Stirring the tablet is recommended and leave the water to stand for 24 hours in a sealed vessel.
Adding any Yeast prior to this time will greatly inhibit the fermentation process.
