Crisp Malt - Crushed Maris Otter Extra Pale 25kg

Crisp Extra Pale Maris Otter is a low-colour version of Maris Otter malt, giving the variety's malt quality in paler beers. This crushed 25kg sack suits brewers making blondes, pale ales, golden ales and lager-style beers in quantity.

How to use

Mash as you would standard Maris Otter. Because it is much paler (standard Maris Otter is 5.5-7.2 EBC), it lets hop character and a light colour come through in blondes and pale ales.

Try it with bright hops such as Cascade and a clean yeast like Safale US-05. For darker British ales, choose standard Crisp Crushed Maris Otter 25kg.
