Still Spirits Top Shelf Flavourings turn your own neutral spirit into a genuine replica of the world's most popular drinks — just add the flavouring essence to your base spirit and water, following the bottle's instructions, and it's ready to drink. No ageing, no distilling equipment required beyond what you've already used to make the base spirit.

Popular Flavours in Stock

The Top Shelf range covers an enormous variety, including Amaretto, Crème de Menthe, Peach Schnapps, Pear Schnapps, Butterscotch Schnapps, Dark Rum, Jamaican Dark Rum, Jamaican Gold Rum, Dark Spiced Rum, White Rum, Kentucky Bourbon, Honey Bourbon, Wild Eagle Bourbon, Cinnamon Whiskey, Smoky Whiskey, Shamrock Whiskey, Southern Whiskey, Dry Gin, Pink Gin, Pink Grapefruit Gin, Elderflower Gin, Blood Orange Gin, Violet Gin, Vodka, Citrus Vodka, Caramel Vodka, Grapefruit Vodka, Raspberry Vodka, French Brandy, Napoleon Brandy, Tequila Silver, Ouzo, Melon Liqueur, Coffee Maria Liqueur, and Irish Cream. Select your flavour from the dropdown above, or browse the full Classic Range for a more traditional profile.

Each flavouring is presented in a 50ml bottle — enough to flavour a full batch of your home-distilled or bought neutral spirit.

What Does It Taste Like?

Not sure where to start? Still Spirits publish their own guide matching each flavouring to the commercial spirit it's designed to replicate. Here's how our in-stock flavours line up — select the matching flavour from the dropdown above once you've found what you're after. For the full official chart (including flavours we don't currently stock), see Still Spirits' own comparison guide.

How Does It Work?

Each Top Shelf flavouring is a concentrated essence formulated to replicate a specific commercial spirit. Add the bottle to your base spirit (typically vodka-strength neutral spirit, home-distilled or bought), dilute to drinking strength with water following the pack instructions, and leave to settle for a day or two before drinking. Some styles — particularly the cream liqueurs — use a dedicated base (see below) rather than a neutral spirit.

Liqueur and Cream Bases

For cream liqueurs like Irish Cream, and for schnapps-style drinks, you'll need the matching base alongside the flavouring: Cream Liqueur Base for cream-style liqueurs, or Schnapps Base for schnapps flavours like Peach or Pear Schnapps. Amaretto uses Liqueur Base C. The general Liqueur Bases (A, B, and C) cover other liqueur styles — check your chosen flavouring's instructions for which base it needs.

What Do You Need to Get Started?

You'll need a base spirit (either bought, or distilled at home with a Still Spirits Air Still or T500 still), the flavouring of your choice, the matching base if required, and bottles to store the finished spirit. If you're distilling your own base spirit from scratch, you'll also need a turbo yeast and Turbo Clear to ferment and clear your wash first.
