Still Spirits Turbo Clear is a two-part (A and B) clearing agent that, within 24 hours, separates over 90% of the yeast cells, solids and other compounds from a fermented wash. You then siphon off clear wash and leave the sediment behind.

Why it matters

If yeast goes into the boiler, the cells break open during the boil and release off-flavours, smells and impurities (including those absorbed by clays and carbons) back into the distillate. Still Spirits recommend Turbo Clear in every wash, racked carefully before distilling.
