West Coast IPA — Mangrove Jack's Build Your Own Beer Kit

Brew a West Coast IPA at home — no all-grain setup required. This ready-to-brew bundle pairs a Mangrove Jack's 3 India Pale Ale base can with a dedicated hop blend, brew enhancer and a genuine Craft Series yeast, giving you hand-built, craft-quality beer with the simplicity of a can kit. Just add water, pitch the yeast, and in a couple of weeks you'll have roughly 18 litres — about 32 pints — of 5.7% ABV West Coast IPA.

What's in the bundle

Tasting notes

Bold and resinous — dank pine, grapefruit and a bracing, bone-dry bitterness. A hophead's classic.

How to brew

  1. Sanitise all your equipment thoroughly.
  2. Stand the can in warm water, then empty the can and brew enhancer into your fermenter.
  3. Add hot water and stir to dissolve, then top up with cold water to 18 litres and mix well.
  4. Check the wort is around 20–24°C, then sprinkle the Craft Series yeast on top.
  5. Add the hop blend as directed, fit the lid and airlock, and ferment somewhere warm and stable.
  6. Ferment for around 1–2 weeks until the gravity is stable, then bottle or keg with priming sugar.
  7. Condition for at least two weeks (the longer the better), then chill and enjoy.
