Young's Cap/Injector/Relief Valves Spare Kit

Young's Cap/Injector/Relief Valves Spare Kit contains the spare washers and seals that keep a Young's pressure barrel airtight and working properly. It is a genuine Young's spare part.

Why you need it

A pressure barrel relies on good seals at the cap, the gas injector and the pressure relief valve. When washers harden, crack or go missing, the barrel slowly loses pressure and the beer goes flat. Replacing them is far cheaper than a new barrel.

Fitting

Empty and clean the barrel, remove the old washers, then clean and sanitise the new ones before fitting. Check for leaks by pressurising the barrel and listening for hissing.

• Young's STD CO2 Inlet/Outlet Valve (Brass) - replacement gas valve
• LISS CO2 Chargers - 8g bulbs to top up pressure
• Valve Sealing Washer - a spare valve washer
• 2" Pressure Barrel Caps - if the whole cap needs replacing
