Young's STD CO2 Inlet / Outlet Valve (Brass)

Young's Standard CO2 Inlet/Outlet Valve is a genuine brass replacement valve for a Young's pressure barrel. It lets you inject gas from an 8g CO2 bulb to keep your beer pressurised and flowing.

Why it matters

As you pour, the pressure in a barrel drops. A small shot of CO2 through this valve replaces it, so the last pint pours as well as the first and air is kept away from the beer.

Fitting and use

Fit the valve to the barrel cap in place of the old one, check the seals are seated, then inject CO2 a little at a time when the flow slows.
