The Alcotec Spirit Karbon Activated Carbon 1kg is a premium activated carbon product used for filtering and purifying home-distilled spirits and turbo yeast washes. Activated carbon adsorbs unwanted congeners, off-flavours, and odours from fermented wash, producing a cleaner, purer base alcohol.
Stir into the cleared wash, leave for 24–48 hours, then filter out the carbon before distilling or using. Use after fermentation with Alcotec Carbon 48 or Alcotec 48 Turbo Yeast. Clear the wash first with Alcotec 24 Klar Finings.
