Why it's different

  • Malt extract plus invert sugar keeps it pale while reaching a high starting gravity
  • Saaz and Hallertau hop pellets for a classic European lager aroma
  • Varietal brewers yeast included

How to brew it

Soften the malt bag in hot water, mix it with 3 litres of hot water, top up to 23 litres at 20-25°C and add the yeast. Ferment for 8-15 days at 18-24°C; steep the hop teabag in boiling water for 10 minutes and add it on day 4. Bottle once the gravity stops falling, with a level teaspoon of sugar per 330ml or 500ml bottle, then keep warm for a week and cool for about another week to clear.
