Handcraft Supplies wine corks in five quality grades, available in packs of 30 or 150. All corks are suitable for standard 750ml wine bottles and require a twin-lever or floor-standing corker for insertion.
Cork Grades
- Standard Corks — reliable everyday corks for short to medium-term storage. Suitable for wines to be consumed within 1–2 years.
- Tapered Corks — slightly tapered profile for easier insertion. Good general-purpose cork.
- Winemaster Corks — quality corks suitable for wines stored up to 2–3 years.
- Super Corks — superior quality for wines requiring extended storage of 3+ years.
- Premium Corks — the best quality in the range. Excellent seal integrity for long-term cellaring.
Which Cork Should I Choose?
For wine kits intended to be drunk within a year or two, Standard or Tapered corks are perfectly adequate. For premium wine kits such as Winexpert Classic, Reserve, or Beaverdale that you plan to age, step up to Winemaster, Super, or Premium grade.
You'll also need a corker — see our Twin Lever Metal Corker or Semi-Automatic Corker. Browse all home brew equipment at BrewCo.
