Progress is a traditional British aroma hop developed from Fuggles with a milder, softer character - gently fruity, grassy and floral with less earthiness than its parent. A smooth, approachable variety for classic British ales where a subtle hop note is wanted.
- Alpha acid: 5-7%
- Aroma: Mild, grassy, floral, lightly fruity, soft
- Best for: late additions and dry hopping in traditional ales
- Great in: milds, bitters, English pale ales and golden ales
