A ready-to-brew beer bundle built around Coopers DIY Australian Pale Ale, with a fermenter and lightweight PET bottles. It makes 23 litres, about 40 pints, and suits first-time brewers who want everything in one order.

In the bundle

• Coopers DIY Australian Pale Ale - a 1.7kg tin of hopped malt concentrate with yeast under the lid
• A 25l fermenter with tap, lid and grommet
• Coopers PET Beer Bottles and Caps x2 - 48 x 500ml with reusable screw caps, no capper needed

You will also need

• 1kg of Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 or Brewing & Winemaking Sugar 1kg - not included
• Bubbler Airlock with Red Cap for the lid grommet, and a Wine & Beer Hydrometer
• ChemSan - no-rinse sanitiser for the fermenter and bottles
• Coopers Carbonation Drops - one per 500ml bottle to carbonate

How it works

Sanitise everything, mix the kit with water in the fermenter, add the yeast and leave it to ferment. When the gravity is stable, bottle with a carbonation drop in each, keep warm for a few days, then move somewhere cooler to condition. Full steps: Coopers Original Series Kit Instructions.
