Complete Beer Making Bundle (PET Bottles) — Muntons Connoisseurs

£59.92 if bought separately – this bundle saves you £3.43.

This bundle pairs the Muntons Connoisseurs Continental Lager kit with a fermenter and 48 PET bottles. It makes 23 litres, about 40 pints, of a full-bodied European-style lager.

In the bundle

• Muntons Connoisseurs Continental Lager - a 1.8kg kit for a light amber, hoppy continental-style lager of around 4.6% ABV
• A 25l fermenter with tap, lid and grommet
• Coopers PET Beer Bottles and Caps x2 - 48 x 500ml with reusable screw caps, no capper needed

You will also need

• 1kg of Brewing & Winemaking Sugar 1kg, or malt extract for more body - not included
• Bubbler Airlock with Red Cap for the lid grommet, and a Wine & Beer Hydrometer
• ChemSan - no-rinse sanitiser for the fermenter and bottles
• Coopers Carbonation Drops - one per 500ml bottle to carbonate

How it works

Sanitise everything, mix the kit with water in the fermenter, add the yeast and leave it to ferment. When the gravity is stable, bottle with a carbonation drop in each, keep warm for a few days, then move somewhere cooler to condition. Full steps: Muntons Connoisseurs Home Brew Kit Instructions.
