Mangrove Jack's Wine Nutrient is a diammonium phosphate-based yeast nutrient that keeps yeast healthy when fermenting wine from grape or other fruit juice. One 23.5g sachet treats a 15-23 litre batch.
Why use a yeast nutrient?
Fruit juices are not always rich in the nitrogen and micronutrients yeast needs. A nutrient gives the yeast a better environment to work in, for a healthier, faster and more complete fermentation, and it helps flavour, aroma and consistency from batch to batch.
