MasterPint Lager is an English-style lager kit with classical hop flavours and a refreshing finish, made to be served cool. Add 1kg of brewing sugar and water to make 23 litres, about 40 pints.
It is the gentlest lager in the range at 20-25 EBU and one of the simplest kits to brew, so it is a good place to start.
What's in the pouch
- Selected liquid malt extracts
- Varietal brewery yeast - a little slower than cheap kit yeast, but the maker says it gives a much better result
- Packed in a stand-up pouch that can't dent, with full instructions on the back
You'll also need
- 1kg of Brewing & Winemaking Sugar 1kg
- A 25 Litre Fermentation Vessel with Tap
- A Wine & Beer Hydrometer
- ChemSan (no-rinse sanitiser) and Coopers Carbonation Drops for priming
How to brew it
