Wine Sweetener 250ml is a non-fermentable sweetener for adding sweetness to a dry wine once fermentation has finished. Because yeast can't ferment it, it won't restart fermentation in the bottle.

Key features

  • Non-fermentable - sweetens without feeding the yeast
  • Turns a dry wine medium or sweet, to your taste
  • Liquid, so it mixes in easily
  • 250ml bottle - the larger size for regular wine makers

How to use

Stabilise first, then add a little at a time, stirring and tasting, before bottling - see the How to Use box below.

Before you sweeten

Ideal for anyone who finds kit or country wines too dry. For a one-off batch, the Wine Sweetener 50 ml bottle may be enough.
