Frequently Asked Questions
How much beer does it make and how strong is it?

23 litres at approximately 5.6% ABV.

What do I need to add?

1kg of dextrose or Brew Enhancer, or 1.2kg of Pure Malt Enhancer (not included), plus water.

Which yeast is included?

Mangrove Jack's M44 US West Coast, which is matched to the style - use it rather than a generic ale yeast.

When do I add the dry hops?

The Simcoe, Citra and Nelson Sauvin dry hops go in when primary fermentation is nearly complete, for maximum hop aroma.

How long before I can drink it?

Condition in the bottle for at least 10-14 days after fermentation. Take hydrometer readings two days apart - if the gravity hasn't changed, fermentation has finished.

How bitter is it?

4.5 out of 5 (48-56 IBU) - an intense bitterness balancing tropical fruit aromas from Simcoe, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops.
