Roast Wheat gives dark beers colour and a dry coffee note with a grainy, wheat-led twist. This 1kg bag covers most 23 litre Dunkelweizen, stout and porter recipes.

What it does

Roast wheat is unmalted wheat roasted dark. It adds deep colour and a dry, coffee-like roast with a slightly sharper, grainier edge than chocolate malt, bringing wheat-roast character to dark beers without heaviness. Most recipes need only a small percentage.
