This 500g bag of Roast Wheat is a simple way to darken one batch - a Dunkelweizen, porter or stout - and add a dry roast with a grainy edge.

What it does

Roast wheat is unmalted wheat roasted dark. It adds deep colour and a dry, coffee-like roast with a slightly sharper, grainier edge than chocolate malt, bringing wheat-roast character to dark beers without heaviness. It is also a good trial size before committing to a larger bag.
