Thomas Coopers Light Malt Extract (1.5kg) is made from pale malt and barley, improving the body, flavour, aroma, and head retention of your home brew when used alongside a beer kit or as part of an extract recipe. A clean, neutral malt base that enhances any light-coloured beer without adding colour.
Use as a sugar replacement in beer kit recipes for a more malt-forward result, or as part of an all-extract recipe. Pairs well with any of our hops — try Citra or Centennial for a hoppy pale ale. For a hop-forward pale ale, ferment with Safale US-05 — a clean American ale yeast with very low diacetyl that stays out of the way of the hop character.
