The Geordie Mild is a classic dark mild ale with a traditional, fuller Northern taste. Rich and smooth with a deep dark colour and a full, creamy head — this is a proper British mild ale made from natural ingredients. It's one of the most satisfying and easy-drinking beer styles to brew at home, and the Geordie Mild kit delivers it faithfully at 40 pints a batch.
Dark milds are lower in bitterness and ABV than bitters, making them a great choice for everyday home brew drinking. Ready in 21–28 days.

What Equipment Do You Need?
This kit is ingredients-only. You'll also need a 25-litre fermentation bucket, airlock, hydrometer, siphon, and bottles or a pressure barrel. Our home brew starter kits include everything in one bundle. Always sanitise with VWP or ChemSan.
Tips for Best Results
- Use Dark Spraymalt instead of plain sugar to add extra body and colour
- Use Coopers Carbonation Drops for easy, precise bottle priming
- Condition for at least 7 days in the bottle before drinking
- Serve at cellar temperature (10–12°C)
